Hi, I’m Bree—a Melbourne-based end-of-life pet photographer with a background in veterinary nursing and oncology, and a heart deeply rooted in compassion. For over a decade, I supported pet parents through some of the most tender, heartbreaking moments in the clinic. Today, I offer something different, but just as meaningful: a way to gently preserve those final chapters in photographs filled with love, and connection.

I created Bree Ruby Photography because I saw the quiet ache that so many people carry when their pet is nearing the end. The grief begins long before the goodbye. I know that feeling personally—and professionally—and I’m here to make sure no one has to walk through it alone.

These sessions aren’t about perfect poses or polished portraits. I create a safe, pressure-free space to just be with your pet. To honour their life. To celebrate your bond. To capture the little things that mean everything (the soft eyes, the greying muzzle, the way they still curl up beside you).
