In 2026, we’re bringing that magic to life in the Legends of Melbourne - Senior Dog Calendar - a heartfelt celebration of the dogs who’ve been our soulmates, adventure buddies, and family members through it all.
What the Calendar Is All About
This project is more than just dates and pretty pictures. It’s a year-long tribute to the incredible senior dogs of Melbourne.
- 12 senior dogs will be featured, each with their own dedicated month.
- Every dog receives a professional mini legacy session, designed to capture their unique charm and personality.
- Once all sessions are complete, the community will help choose the cover dog through an Instagram vote.
It’s about celebrating the bond, creating keepsakes, and making sure these dogs are remembered for the legends they truly are.

As a former veterinary nurse and Melbourne’s only specialist senior and end-of-life pet photographer, I’ve seen first-hand how meaningful it is to capture this stage of life. This calendar is a way of giving senior dogs their turn in the spotlight.
